My not so emtpy workspace almost in 3D

Creativity, Scribbles

I have to bring home everything I own in school. School ends in two days and if I do not grab my stuff they will throw it away. It might sound harsh but they have apparently had years when people have left their stuff, they have then had a hard time to make room for the next term. The last couple of days have consisted of cleaning and wrap everything up, it almost feels like I bring home presents since everything is wraped like presents.I have been bringing home my stuff a little now and then during the second half of the term but even though I have done that I still stand with more than I can carry. And one of the reasons I had a lot to carry home today was because when we cleaned we laid everything that people had not claimed in a huge pile on the floor and then after lunch anyone could go in and grab what they wanted…I did….

This brilliant event of ending school before summer has resulted in lack of space in my mini-studio in the bedroom….See for you self…(And I still have stuff to bring home~)

There you go, now you have seen my small work space. Ok, I have a few clothes laying around buuut~ hmmm, btw I have not checked what can be seen in my pictures… exciting! Well take a look and let me know if you find anything odd or something; )

Teachers from yesterday

Creativity, Scribbles

I love visiting my old school, I love the atmosphere and I really enjoy meeting my old teachers. I was there yesterday to hand over a print to my old graphics teacher. A friend and I made a portrait of him for fun in lino when we went to upper secondary school. At first it was just for fun, but when we really got into it we took it more and more seriously, we drew him up roughly and then cut the lino at the same time. It was so much fun.

The more I think about my old school, how much I learned and the fantastic teachers, the more I want to work there myself when I’m finished with my teacher studies. Hopefully I will be done in approximately the same period as they lay their jobs behind them. I keep my fingers crossed!

The more I think about the more it turns into a dream I want to reach….

The best thing ever is that I have my old teachers support. They think I can do it, they think I will be a good teacher and they hope I will be able to take over for them in a few years from now. To know that you have people behind you feels great, but in the end it is up to you to believe in you. Those behind you can point in different directions, they can reason with you and also encourage you, but you are the one that will have to make the climb to what you want in life

Thanks to old teachers, my family, my friends and my fiancé, I will climb high and reach what I want in life.

Painting shoes

Creativity

I have painted shoes this weekend. My sister, Lizzy, has asked me several times to paint a pair of shoes for her. But she always forgot her shoes. She wanted bunnies and small hills. Who am I to argue with that; )

If you want to see more shoes I have made, feel free to check out my gallery on deviantart HERE. The different shoes I’ve made can be found a little here and a little there in my gallery: )

Any questions regarding painting shoes, or whatever you can come up with, feel free to ask : D

A bit of sky

Scribbles

I have been up to a little bit of everything this weekend. Last night I walked mom’s dogs and saw this!

And a little later it was chrystal that Loreen had won the Eurovision Song Contest. The song has been played a bit to much on the radio but her perfomance on stage was pretty neat. Here is the video from last night.

Mom’s dogs

Scribbles

It is really nice weather outside!

I have been reading the third book of A Game of Thrones and just been sucking in sunlight!

And after a while mom’s dogs joined me outside for a while. I am watching my mom’s dogs this weekend, they are named Zelma and Wilma. They are flatcoated retrivers and love to play around, fortunatley for me they decided to stay at my side.

And when they know they will get candy….

Time to dive back into the book ❤

Glass course

Creativity

The past two days I have been attending a glass course. I have not blown glass but I have made fusions. It was amazing: D

Here comes a few pictures from my two days.

I love all these pearls, we did not do pearls though, but the glass artist told us we could perhaps come back next term to do pearls ❤

Before fusing

Fused. My stuff are in from the green corner above. I’ll take some proper photos when I get home on monday, I’m at mom’s guarding dogs all weekend : )

I will jump right into some adventures this weekend, starting today! I’m soon heading out in a small car to find my patch in the woods I saw a year ago, wish me good luck!

Thunder

Creativity

I woke to thunder this morning. I really like thunder, and it is even more amazing if there is lightning. Last summer we had these monstruous lightning storms, but W O W what amazing lightnings I saw, it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen.

So after a bit thunder, some rain at school, a major slip on the ground and sun I managed to print some lino today.

Exciting week end coming up!

Dreams

Scribbles

One day I wake to birds singing outside my window. Next to me lie my husband snoring a little. It is still early but I really have to pee. I never really had to pee this often for a few months ago but times change. I roll to my side to sit up gently. The floor is cold in comparrison to the warmth under my cover, luckily I have my slippers close to hand. On with the robe and off I go. I pass the kitchen and put on some water for tea.

Back into the kitchen I go to the cabinett to get a cup. It’s a good thing my husband helped me rearrange the cabinett so it is easier to reach the cups. I love the colourful cups I made a few years ago, they can hold three normal cups of tea. With green tea in hand I head for the door. Since spring has come to this little patch in the woods I want to sit in the sun on the porch drinking my tea. It seems like the newspaper has arrived put I just have to sit for a few minutes, my back is killing me.

Looking back, it seems like ages ago since we bought this perfect house. It is as I imagine. I got my front porch in the sun where I can drink my tea and I can see trees and hear the birds sing. One thing I did not get, a studio where I can paint. But I don’t mind since I share a studio with a friend in town above a bakery. And yes, we drink tea and eat sweets a great deal.

Now, I better turn on the oven if I want to surprise my husband with some fresh bread when he wakes. He loves to sleep in when he doesn’t have to get up for work. I work too, but for the time beeing I’m home. I feel lucky though, when I get back to work I will get back to what I love doing. Luckily a few years ago, when one of my old teachers at my upper secondary school went in pension I was there at the right time and moment to take over, I work as an art teacher. Time to fill the cup again and perhaps take a carrot.

Bread in oven, check. More tea in my cup, check. It comes as no surprise when my hair suddenly is beeing tousled and I get a kiss on my cheek. The house is creaking, mostly the floors but now and then the rest of the house too. I hear the the loo flush. My husband comes into the kitchen again, he makes a glass of chocolate milk, like he has done for all time I have known him. We take our drinks and go to our sunny porch, I update my wordfeud games and he reads the newspaper backwards, like he always did.

Imagine this house in red, with a porch, on the edge to the woods. In it lives a couple who are about to have their first child. The husband is as laid back and calm as ever and the wife energetic as usual. They have got exactly what they wanted and another dream is growing inside her belly.

I dream. I lie pretty many steps ahead in my dreams. I want alot, which the fiancé does not object to, but everything has its time and not all plans are doable right now. Some plans will have to wait for at least 4 years and others could come true within a year.

I live as if all my dreams will come true. And in time they will.

Note to meself: Patience woman, PATIENCE! All good comes to those who wait… or something.
