Today I have been down to the harbour, in the town where I live we have so called legal walls for spray-painting. And I was there for exactly that reason ^^
I was there with two friends, and we went about looking for the right spot, we did not want to ruin a good painting. After a while we found a spot where the paint had started to fall off, we wouldn’t ruin anyone else’s painting at least : )It was sunny a bit windy, but wow it was really nice to be outside, and then all of a sudden one of my friends open three cold beers…yepp…this is a good day ❤
It will probably be easy to figure out what is what and what I have made so…here it goes…
For the record… this is not easy! This will take lots of practise!
A description follows in the bottom : )
For once I thought you all could see the whole bunch of pictures before I laid it all out in text. This is a project of mine at the university, I am to make a collection out of ceramics and print on fabric. And above you have seen my ceramics part, I want to create a scene, therefore my print on fabric will also be in line of this theme. This is progress pictures and the final result will look like something else. I will explain more about the final results when it is finished ^^
Disney films and creativity.
This week, today:
My iphone has been acting weird, I have not been able to transfer anything from it, today it went better : )
The water colour painting from today you can see HERE.
On monday I am meeting up a few friends for some graffiti-painting at the legal walls here in the town where I live ^___^
I will probably make an update on this on monday evening : )
Here you can view a few new water colour paintings ^___^
My wire lampshade is finished. And before I found a good lamp bulb for it it looked like this….
And, yepp this is a part of my livingroom (when it is clean)… This bulb was way to weak for the job and then I found another! and it spread massive patterns all over my livingroom. The picture below give you a hint but it is still no fair picture…. perhaps I should capture it on film(?)…
Press the picture above to be redirected to my portfolio and the fancy pictures of this lampshade in wire : )
I bought another lamp armature a while back perhaps I will make more lampshades ^^ try new materials maybe…. something to think about!

I say: I don’t know what to do, where to begin…I am not sure I can make more trees for the moment to be honest…
My boyfriend says: I usually begin with a tree and then I add a rock and then I add another rock and so on, that usually works for me…
And so I add a tree into a picture with a few creatures…. and then another tree and then another creature…and as it comes along it becomes a picture…and then we are silent for a good while, continuing our work. And all of a sudden I have made more pictures with trees, and it feels good.
His or my place, we can sit in the same room being creative, being silent and drink coffee and every now and then break the silence for some advice or just being proud of our work, showing off ^___^
Stefan has been sculpting some really awesome stuff lately, miniature fluffy animals!!! And he is the best at making fur, it really looks like something small cute and fluffy, though I am not sure he agrees on the cute..since they are supposed to be fluffy and dangerous..hm….I think it is time for my bearded, handsome, creative man to start his own blog and really show off his work! ^___^
I kind of just went loose on making stuff that weren’t supposed to become anything special….and then I accidently made some sort of story…
Two girls going on an adventure. Still wokring on the ‘Inside out’ storyline…. who knows where it will end up : )
And now comes some real process pictures, in the end of this post you can see a few almost finished paintings, though those are not the final pictures of my wallpainting.
My client knew what she wanted and I made it happen, easily as that. She wanted trees and she wanted cherry-like flowers in it : )
Before starting out I had a few thoughts about how I would start out my trees, how would I sketch it up properly? should I sketch it up? In the end I did no such thing as sketching anything up with a pencil or anything. The thing about graphite is that it smudges easily and since my client’s walls is white it would look really nasty if it smudged. And charcoal…well it smudges too easily. So below you can see my solution to my thoughts of a sketch. I used masking tape to get my idea on the wall! It worked perfectly, I could move them around and ye this was a nice way of working.
And then I started to paint it all…
Below you see the first afternoon I worked with this, and below follows the three additional days it took to finish it.
This have been really fun to make! I have been working in odd positions and I have been climbing and drunk coffee and worked long day but all in all it was all worth it. And the best part is that my client is really happy about the result and her co-workers too, that warms my heart the most!
I will upload the final resut in the coming days, but if you want to see it for yourself you can swing by my client for coffee and something sweet. My client was Lotta’s konditori och bageri (in eng: Lotta’s patisserie and bakery). Directions and photos from their coffee place can be found on their facebook page, HERE. Below are pictures from their outpost.
Have a nice day!
