Tentparty year 3

Blog

It is the third year in a row that we did The Tentparty. We are a group of friends going out on an island that is partly owned by the family to two of my friends. The first year I split tent with my bearded man in a two-person-tent, tight and cozy! The second year my moms dog came with so I borrowed a four-person-tent, still tight and cozy. And this third year we didn’t bring a tent or a dog! We brought one hammock each and a huge tarp!

Yepp one of these each! Though mine was green and my bearded mans was camo-coloured 😉

A review is coming in the end!! But first a picture of great preparation!!

We had about one hour in the car to the small ferry we were riding out to the island, candy is needed…

When we put up our things on the island our sleeping area looked like this.

A huge tarp over our heads to keep the rain away, and also I put up a mosquito net just in case 🙂

When we went to bed we lightva few mosquito candles, they were safely burning all night. All of a sudden my beloved asked me to stand by him outside of the base camp we made. WOW it looked like a picture from pinterest, nature base camp, real candles in the darkness, it was soo perfect. Aaaand I didn’t take a picture…..

Though I snapped one when I had woken on our last morning. The weather forecast was saying that the night would be as cold as 12+c, I took out my extra pyjamas to sleep in!!

Our view before going home.

And my view, hehe.

Friends sitting with a third of our stuff ❤

I also saw this awesome colour match, it was even better than what my cam is giving away ❤☀

Review of the hammocks!!

+ easy to pack, easy to hang up, low weight, very comfy to sleep in!

–  they could easily rip if you forget sharp objects on you, you need the isolation of an underlay otherwise you easily freeze from below.

This is based on weathertype: rain and clouds and partly sun.

Temperature by night: 11-15+c
